Questions people ask

When is the November 2026 GCSE Maths resit?

Edexcel 1MA1 and AQA 8300: Paper 1 (non-calculator) on Wednesday 4 November, Paper 2 (calculator) on Friday 6 November and Paper 3 (calculator) on Monday 9 November 2026, all in the morning, 1 hour 30 minutes each. OCR J560 sits on the same days, but its non-calculator paper is the second one, on 6 November.

What mark do I need for grade 4?

No one knows yet: November 2026 boundaries are set after the exams, on the Foundation total out of 240. Pearson publishes each series' boundaries on its grade boundaries page; the boundaries calculator works from the one you enter.

Should I revise every topic?

Start with the two topics that cost you most, then keep timed sections in the plan so you find the next gap. A short check samples a few skills; it does not cover the whole specification.
