Spoken Language: the presentation

The idea

The Spoken Language endorsement is assessed separately from the two papers. You give a short formal presentation, answer questions from the audience, and use Standard English.

  1. Choose a topic you can speak about with confidence.
  2. Plan a clear opening, two or three points and an ending.
  3. Practise answering likely questions with full, formal answers.

Watch out Reading a script word for word, with no eye contact, makes the talk hard to follow.
