The idea

Compound measures combine two units: speed =distancetime= \frac{\text{distance}}{\text{time}}, density =massvolume= \frac{\text{mass}}{\text{volume}}, pressure =forcearea= \frac{\text{force}}{\text{area}}.

  1. Write the formula and rearrange it for what you need.
  2. Make the units match before you substitute.
  3. For the best buy, compare the price per gram (or grams per penny).

Watch out 11 hour 3030 minutes is 1.51.5 hours, not 1.31.3.
